The FireVibes system provides an excellent solution for all those installations where cabling is an issue (museums, churches, etc.). The protocol translator, connected and powered directly from loop, allows control panel to communicate with up to 128 wireless devices. The communication between translator and devices can be direct or through repeater modules which allow to extend the range and create a redundant mesh network with alternative paths in case of loss of a node.
Radio communication is based on bidirectional dual channel technology reaching a distance of up to 200 m between translators and devices (Field Bus) and up to 1000m between translators and expansions (Network Bus). The range of wireless devices available includes Optical Smoke Detectors, Temperature Detectors, Optical/Heat Detectors, Call Points, Input Modules and Sounders.
